We are proud to unveil our latest project, developed in partnership with the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club, the CHxOTH clothing collection. The collection, uniting streetwear and the Canadiens' rich history, is a result of two of the most influential businesses in Montreal joining forces. The first products from the collection will be available as of tomorrow morning at the shop and on our online store.
We conceived a collection of everyday clothing that also revisits the Canadiens' storied past. Fans will now have the opportunity to express their passion and their love for the iconic hockey team with stylish and exclusive clothing. "The collaboration fits seamlessly within the shop's identity," explains Angelo Destounis, co-founder of Off The Hook, "For 15 years, we've been offering clothing that is heavily inspired by Montreal culture, of which the Canadiens are an integral part. With this collection, we are offering Montrealers streetwear sports clothing that is inspired by what many in the city consider to be a national religion."
The Montreal Canadiens are equally excited about the project, which renews the club's image and allows it to penetrate the fashion world. "As an organization we are committed to connecting and engaging with our fans wherever they may be, and in any number of ways," said Kevin Gilmore, the Canadiens' Chief Operating Officer. "When it comes to team apparel, this initiative with Off the Hook represents a new line of products that offers a different interpretation of our brand to consumers who've been seeking a more understated approach than the more traditional styles of licensed clothing we have seen."
The CHxOTH collection was developed and produced in collaboration with a number of Canadian partners, including internationally-renowned Roots and Canadian rugby company Barbarian. The CHxOTH collection will be comprised of a number of different products that will be unveiled throughout 2015.
