Notre bon ami Paul Labonté lance un chandail à manches longues et une épinglette en émail avec sa fameuse photo « Rubber Bands and a Shoebox ». Cette photo a été prise en 2007 et faisait partie initialement d’un essai photographique qui a été exposé dans l’espace 381 Projects à Toronto. Un culte a rapidement été voué au projet, malgré le fait que seulement 5 impressions ont été produites.
Plus tôt cette année, Justin R. Saunders a publié sur Instagram une esquisse en noir et blanc d’une boîte à chaussures, ce qui a mené à une discussion avec Paul à propos de la conception d’épinglettes basées sur ce dessin. Le résultat est une épinglette en émail de 1’’ Paul Labonté x Justin R. Saunders. La création de cette épinglette a poussé Paul à trouver un autre moyen de rendre la photo « Rubber Bands and a Shoebox » accessible au public, l’amenant à produire une impression 17 couleurs de la photo sur un chandail blanc à manches longues.
Le chandail ainsi que l'épinglette sont désormais disponibles à la boutique.
Our good friend Paul Labonté has released a long sleeve t-shirt and enamel pin featuring his famous "Rubber Bands and a Shoebox" photograph. The photo was taken in 2007 and was originally part of a photo essay that was exhibited at the 381 Projects space in Toronto. The project quickly gained a cult following, despite the fact that only 5 prints were produced.
Earlier this year, Justin Saunders posted a black and white drawing of the shoebox to his Instagram, which led to a discussion with Paul about producing pins based on the drawing. The result is a Paul Labonté x Justin R. Saunders 1'' enamel pin. Creating the pin pushed Paul to find another way to make the "Rubber Bands and a Shoebox" photo accessible to the public, leading him to produce a 17 colour screen print of the photograph on a white long sleeve shirt.
Both the shirt and the pin are now available at the shop, in limited quantities.
